Haleakala National Park.

In October we took the 25 minute flight from Oahu to Maui to spend a weekend camping in Haleakala National Park.  It just so happens that on this weekend a hurricane was also making its way over to Maui.  Everything was shut down, despite mild weather.  The island was green and the occasional rains washed everything clean.  After a couple days of back road exploration and no sign of the hurricane, Haleakala National Park was opened up and we were able to camp in the clouds.  We brought back with us the blues of the sunrise and the grit of the sand.  They are in our new ceramic pieces and we can't wait to share them with you.
